In addition to the wear of the outer layer of steel wires, the steel wire rope sling is mainly broken due to metal fatigue caused by repeated bending when bypassing the hook and the suspended object. Therefore, the ratio of the hook or the suspended object to the diameter of the wire rope determines the service life of the steel wire rope sling. 
When the degree of wear and corrosion of the surface layer of the steel wire rope sling or the number of broken wires in each twist distance exceeds the specified value, it should be scrapped.
Steel Wire rope slings are mainly used in lifting, pulling and other transportation that require high-strength wire ropes. During use, it is strictly forbidden to stand under the suspended objects or pass by the objects.
