Advantages of Galfan coated steel wire rope: a large number of experimental studies show that Galfan (zinc aluminum alloy) coated steel wire has better corrosion resistance and protection than zinc coated steel wire. From the perspective of anti-corrosion performance, zinc aluminum alloy coating has both the shielding protection function of aluminum and the electrochemical sacrificial protection function of zinc. The corrosion protection mechanism is to form aluminum iron silicon zinc structure (a dense quaternary crystal) on the surface of steel wire, which is a reliable protective barrier and can effectively prevent the penetration of corrosion. Corrosion resistance of zinc aluminum alloy coated steel wire: the coating with ordinary thickness can reach the salt spray test standard of 500 hours, and the coating with class a can reach the salt spray test standard of 1000 hours (the salt spray test time of ordinary 304 is about 240 hours)
