The twisting of customized galvanized steel wire rope is the same as that of ordinary round strand steel wire rope, but according to the working conditions of the steel wire rope, there are different requirements for the thickness of the zinc layer of the raw steel wire: galvanized steel wire rope with a diameter of 0.2 to 5.0 mm, the thickness of the coating can be divided into 3 Group: The amount of zinc on the thin coating group is 15-135g/m2, which is used for mild corrosion conditions; the amount of zinc on the medium coating group is 60-200g/m2, which is used for medium corrosion conditions; the amount of zinc on the thick galvanized group is 75 g/m2 ~260g/m2 for severe corrosion conditions.
In order to ensure the quality of customized galvanized steel wire rope, the surface of the galvanized layer of the steel wire should be smooth, complete, uniform and firm. When the galvanized steel wire is helically wound on a mandrel with a diameter of 5 or 10 times the diameter of the steel wire, the zinc layer should not fall off or crack.
