2. Whether in inspection or maintenance, when encountering steel wire rope corrosion, special attention should be paid, and careful observation should be made. If it is found that the corrosion is serious and has formed pits or the outer steel wire of the rope strands is loose, no matter how much the wire rope is broken or the diameter of the rope becomes thinner should be replaced.
3. If "red oil" is found on the China 7*19-4.8mm wire rope, it means that the rope core is oil-free and the inside is rusted. Attention should be paid to it. If necessary, the end of the rope can be cut to check the internal corrosion of the wire rope.
