1. Wear: It is a common phenomenon. Choosing the correct construction of galvanized wire rope ensures that wear is only a secondary factor in damage, and lubrication to help reduce wear.
2. Broken wire: It is a common phenomenon at the end of the service life of customized galvanized steel wire rope, which is caused by bending fatigue and wear. Locally broken wires may indicate mechanical defects in the equipment, and proper lubrication will improve the fatigue performance of the wire rope.
3. Deformation: It is often the result of mechanical damage. If serious, it will greatly affect the length of the customized galvanized steel wire rope. Rusting indicates lack of proper lubrication causing rust. In some cases, visible rust marks appear on the outer surface of the wire, which eventually leads to wire breakage.

4. Internal rust: occurs when the lubrication is insufficient or the method is incorrect.
5. Multi-layer winding: Multi-layer winding on the reel will cause serious deformation of the lower wire rope.
6. Poor winding: It is mostly caused by too large inclination angle or too loose winding, which will cause mechanical damage, which is manifested as severe extrusion, and may cause sudden load during operation.
7. The diameter of the sheave is too small: it will cause permanent deformation of the customized galvanized steel wire rope, and will inevitably cause premature wire breakage.
8. The rope groove is too large: the sheave rope groove exceeds the nominal diameter by more than 15%, which will cause the wire rope to lack sufficient support, resulting in flattening and premature wire breakage.
9. The rope groove is too small: the customized galvanized steel wire rope will be squeezed and deformed, and two obvious wear marks and corresponding broken wires often appear.
